DAY 01

Landscapes, Archeology and Tradition

We begin our adventure with pickup from your hotel between 07:20 AM and 08:00 AM. Once with the full group, we will head towards the majestic Sacred Valley. Our first stop will be at the Mirador de Taray, where we will have a spectacular panoramic view of the immensity of the valley and the Urubamba River. Then, we will go to the impressive archaeological center of Pisaq, where you can see structures that served as warehouses, houses and temples, in addition to being amazed by the Inca cemetery and the extensive agricultural terraces that extend along the slopes of the hill.
After this fascinating visit, we will head to the heart of the valley, in Urubamba. Here we will pause to recharge our batteries by enjoying an exquisite buffet lunch at the prestigious Tunupa restaurant in the Sacred Valley, delighting in the best local cuisine in an unbeatable setting next to the river.
After about 30 minutes of post-lunch travel, we will visit the imposing archaeological center of Ollantaytambo, an Inca citadel and fortress that preserves its original urban planning. Once the exploration is over, we will head back, making a stop at the archaeological center of Chinchero for a panoramic visit of its ruins and its beautiful colonial church built on Inca foundations. Once the tour is over, we will return to the city of Cusco at approximately 7:00 p.m.
