Your Itinerary
City Tour
Your experience begins with a personalized immersion into the history of Cusco. Accompanied by a private expert, you will tour the Qorikancha (Temple of the Sun) and the imposing Cathedral, where colonial art and Inca architecture blend together. The afternoon continues to the outskirts of the city to explore the Sacsayhuamán fortress and the energy centers of Q’enqo and Puca Pucara. This first outing has been designed at a leisurely pace to ensure your complete comfort and acclimatization.
At the end of the tour, transportation will take you to your hotel in the Sacred Valley.

The Sacred Valley and the Fortress of Ollantaytambo
In the morning, we’ll explore the Sacred Valley, beginning our journey to the town of Chinchero, where we’ll take a brief tour of the traditional textile center. Then we will visit the archaeological site of Chinchero, continue on to the Maras Salt Mines (pre-Inca salt mines), and the circular agricultural laboratories of Moray, which served as an Inca research center. Its unique feature lies in its agricultural terraces, which are built in the shape of an amphitheater.
Leaving Moray, you will enjoy a typical Cusco-style lunch at the inn in the town of Ollantaytambo.
We will continue to the Ollantaytambo archaeological site, where we will take a guided tour of the residence of the Inca Pachacuti. You will see the impressive monoliths and the Temple of the Sun. At the end of the tour, private transportation will drop you off at your hotel.

The Hiram Bingham Experience
Your journey begins with a private transfer from your hotel to Poroy Station. Upon arrival at the station, you will be greeted and escorted to board the Belmond Hiram Bingham, South America’s most prestigious train.
During the journey to Aguas Calientes, the landscapes of the Sacred Valley unfold before your eyes as you enjoy a gourmet multi-course lunch, paired with a selection of regional wines and premium cocktails. Live music and traditional dances on board create a festive and refined atmosphere, while the open-air observation car allows you to connect directly with the energy of the Andes.
You will enter the citadel of Machu Picchu, where you will have a two-hour guided tour. Afterward, you will have free time to explore at your own pace—a time for spiritual connection—before descending to the town of Aguas Calientes, where you will enjoy tea at the Belmond hotel and then head down to the town.
As evening falls, the return journey becomes a gala celebration; amid signature cocktails and a signature haute cuisine dinner, you’ll enjoy live entertainment in an atmosphere of absolute sophistication. Finally, our private transportation will meet you at the station for a direct and comfortable return, bringing the experience to a perfect close.
