DAY 01

Living Culture, Inca Architecture and Stunning Landscapes

We begin by picking you up from your hotel between 6:20 and 7:00 AM. Once the group is complete, we will head to the town of Chinchero, where we will have a brief visit to a traditional textile center to learn about its ancestral art. Afterward, we will continue with a visit to the impressive archaeological site of Chinchero. Following the visit, we will travel to the famous circular agricultural terraces of the Moray archaeological site, which was of great importance during the Inca era, particularly in the development of agriculture.

Next, we will descend to the stunning Maras Salt Mines, a visually breathtaking complex with over 3,000 salt pans. After this magical scenic visit, we will head to Urubamba for lunch. After lunch, we will continue our journey with visits to the impressive archaeological sites of Ollantaytambo and Pisac, two of the most important in the valley. There you will be able to see the Inca cemetery, monumental agricultural terraces, the qolqas (storehouses), and amazing stone architecture techniques. Finally, we will return to the city of Cusco at approximately 7:00 PM.

6. How will we get around between the different attractions?

All transfers are made aboard comfortable tourist transport. The vehicle will pick you up at your hotel early in the morning and transport you safely, connecting Chinchero, Moray, Maras, Urubamba, Ollantaytambo, and Pisac, before finally bringing you back to the center of Cusco.
